T/F help describe how one sees the world and is motivated, but doesn't describe so well how one acts upon that perspective and motivation. The main differences between T and F in "badass" terms is that T is often "badass" by accident (unaware of the F overtones of a situation and just storming through), while F is usually only "badass" on purpose, intent upon giving a "badass" impression to the world.

It's almost as if F acts with conscience and T doesn't. Remove the holier-than-thou stigma from conscience if you will.
