Theoretically, wouldn't the primary functions of a person like that fluctuate greatly? What effects could such a huge fluctuation cause in a person?

Seems unlikely- they would pretty much fluctuate bewteen all 8 functions. Function strengths is a better way to approach it as opposed to strengths of your letters.

Borderline P/J says more about the testing method than the person themselves. You see it most often with people who suffer from the tertiary temptation a lot, or who express the critical function frequently. Or both.
