I wasn't limiting my inquiry to this particular thread, you seem to have made a number of inquries into the temperament behavior lately. Are you doubting or picking up on a second temperament in yourself? As for the money thing there are two types of spenders investors and consumers. If it had to be divided by temperament, I would think that clearly the SP types would be consumers and possibly NF, and the NT and SJs investors. In general I am not sure spending habits can be measured along these lines since NTPs are suppose to be some of the worse in taking care of the daily grind in paying bills and spending wisely. At least that is Berens thought.
Well, with the poetry questions, I can perhaps conclude as follows:
NPs seem to rank the highest in liking poetry, especially NFPs.
NJs tend not to, but if they do, they engage in it very casually. NFJs tend to rank higher here, too.
SPs are probably the least clear-cut. They either seem to love it or hate it. And as one could suspect, they are more interested in the aesthetic side of language.
SJs, on the whole, seem to take a rather neutral stance toward it.
But in the end, I'd say an enjoyment of poetry is mostly an NP factor, since, more than any other type, they are comfortable with ambiguity.
But an NJ wants things to be to the point in terms of both external stimulus and in terms of expressing their internal conceptions. So it is the combination of N and P that is likely to make someone a master of metaphorical language.
The NJ is more interested in getting the ideas out into the world, be it in the form of language, invention, or any other art form. For them, there is less likely the intent of trying to communicate some ambiguous meaning. Hypothetically, a creative NJ is more concerned with the cool ideas that they can envision.
