Give me the small pickup with extended cab and 4L engine and I'm happy.

I go for power, space, comfort, and practicality. I like four wheel drive since I live in Northern Illinois. SUVs, but not huge ones. I also only like American cars even though I know that it's completely retarded of me.

Currently I drive a red Acura RSX type S because it's fast, handles great, is hot to look at, and gets great gas mileage. :D

Past cars:
Acura integra - red 2 door coupe. Loved it so much I turned around and bought nearly the same car (they don't make the Integras anymore). I drove this car for 7 years and 110,000 miles and NOTHING ever broke down on the thing. I probably should have kept driving it...

Pontiac Sunfire coupe - first brand new car I owned, drove it for 3 years until it started randomly overheating and no one could figure out why. They offered to start replacing parts (thermostat, radiator, etc.) but I said No thanks and finally made the leap to foreign-made cars.

Olds Calais - best description = POS (piece of shit)
Drove it for 3 years and it broke down many, many times.

Chevy Cavalier - first car of my own, also a POS. Had to keep it for 3 years because I had gotten quite a few tickets and didn't want to prompt my insurance company into checking my driving record.

ENTP - a choice of three vehicles:

1. The ultimate oneupmanship machine. The one that even makes the poser in the Ferrari look like trailor trash.

2. The quirky thing with many adaptations and modificatons, custom built by the ENTP themselves.

3. The old piece of shit resurrected from the scrapyard, because someone with as much natural class as an ENTP doesn't need a flashy car to impress people, and likes the challenge of impressing them despite having the shittiest car in town.

I love my Integra (1998 Silver Hatch LS w/ auto, don't bother making fun of me I'VE HEARD IT ALL. )unfortunately now that I have a real commute it sucks sitting in that car for 2 hours a day (I'm 5'10").

91 Jeep Wrangler. I always wanted one and I never plan on getting rid of it. Once the engine goes I may look into converting it to electric. I only drive 15 miles to work and it sucks on the highway anyway.

Perhaps the reason I had a '68 Dodge pickup that got 8 MPG down hill, with the wind. I still love it though...It just fits me.

I didn't own a car for 8 years, but I needed to get one just recently. This INFP wanted reliability and fuel efficiency, and I wanted to pay cash and not have it be too spendy. Solution? A 2003 Toyota Corolla. :)

The Corolla was my first car. Quite indestructable, it won't fail you, unless you crash it into a house (which is what I did, still miss the car...)...

I'm pretty much strictly utilitarian: affordability, price of maintenance and fueling, blah blah blah...

But deep inside my heart, I'm still in love with the Volkswagen Polo (my first car, which my sister crashed 4 months after I bought it...), and also the old Renault 19 :wubbie:

I love my 2002 TOYOTA Camry, Hershey. He's (of course) brown and drives like a dream. This is my second Camry, the last was a she car, Honey. Before I had all economy, practical cars like a Civic and Escorts.

My two cars:
Old: White Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Fast, but people don't expect it. Draws just enough attention to avoid most accidents.
New: White Ford ZX2. Cheap. Bloody. Freaking. Cheap. I bought it for 2000 bucks last July, it's a 2001 and had 69k miles on it. It's peppy enough, has a manual transmission, and uses a lot less gas. I can park it fearlessly, for if it is hit, it won't bother me much.

Other cars I seriously considered: Prius & tC. I like the Fusion and Altima, but they're too big and pricey. The new Mustangs are attractive, but also pricey and take too much gas for a daily-driver. I like BMWs (particularly the 5-series), but they're not worth the money, let alone the headaches to maintain. I like the new (04+) S40, and if I lived in the snow country I'd get the one with AWD, but still pricey for commuting...

I have no clue if this helps at all.

I drive a Honda Civic in the ugliest color known to man.

I was tired of driving a succession of 10-year-old cars that broke down all the time, so reliability was my #1 criterion. On that basis, I'm extremely pleased with my car. I don't think I would ever buy an expensive car because the utility of a $20,000 car and a $50,000 car are exactly the same. They all get you where you're going. All that's different are the looks and the bells and whistles. And cars depreciate, so it's not even like you're building equity in an expensive car.

I guess the focus on utility and reliability could be said to be INTJ concerns.

We bought a 2002 bare-bones basic Ford Escort 4 years ago after our Saturn was stolen and stripped.

It's strictly a necessary, point-A-to-Point-B purchase.

What I'd like? Either a Toyota Prius hybrid, or a VW that takes biodiesel, or a more advanced eco-friendly car when (if?) they become affordable.

I've got a '94 Camry. I got it in the spring of 2005 and it had 32k miles on it (hooray for old people). I've got it at 65k now.

I think sports cars are pretty hot, however, for myself and regular daily life, I love my Camry. If I could have any car in the world, I'd get a Spyder or something similar to it - small, sexy, fast, y'know... However, since I have to fund the car payments and gas usage, I'll go for the cheapest car that gets the best mileage.
