I am currently a senior in college.
For the past two or three months, I've felt less eager to socialize..at least with a group of friends I know well.
I have taken more pleasure in spending time alone than in hanging out with many people in this group. I'm not sure why.
The only thing I can think of is that I've been growing bored.
I still hang out with them a lot but I feel like I'm not doing it enough (at least relative to most other people in the group).. this group also happens to be a SLG (which I'm a part of) who lives together (meaning that I live there).. so that means people in this group hang out together basically 24/7.
I don't know if this is a sign that I'm an Introvert or could it just be that I'm bored enough that the thought of socializing within this group just seems more boring than going on my own?
I'm remarkably independent and still am energized by interesting conversations (regardless of it's one-on-one or in a group) but I just don't feel like "socializing for the sake of socializing" if it's boring.
