The J jumps out of bed to get started on the list of things they'd like to get done this weekend; the P relaxes in bed for another hour, deciding what they'd like to do today.

in my case the J wakes up and goes to find breakfast and get ready to go into work for a few hours and the P rolls over and goes back to sleep for a few more hours

Sounds right, except

Most Saturdays I don't plan even that far in advance.

i kind of have a vague idea... usually... though sometimes i throw that out the window when i realize there's something i'd rather do instead

I wake up around noon, see what has to be done around the house, do it, and then spend the rest of the afternoon lounging around on the computer. I'm actually more likely to mentally plan out the rest of the week than my weekend day.

J =/= workaholic. J simply means having a preference for making decisions and having things ironed out, as opposed to gathering as much info as possible and having your options open. My ADHD-afflicted ENFP mother is actually the workaholic in the family.

At my house, the J sleeps in, having stayed up late the night before to finish something. The P gets up, has breakfast, does a sudoku, putters around the garden, runs out to the store, calls up a friend, works on a project for a bit, then joins the J for lunch.

What? It's saturday!!!
The P is up from 6 o'clock in the morning, doing everything that's not useful (but fun and creative and worthwile). Sleeping late is for weekdays, when you've got to get up at 6:30 to get at boring work. The J, who was awake during work all the week, needs his sleep and is happy to sleep till noon and be lazy the rest of the day. Be awake when it's boring and asleep when at last you can have fun! Those Judgers! :wubbie:

J likes to get up on Saturday morning as early as possible because that's the best time to do housework and studying and things like that. Something about that time that is so calm and relaxing. BUT

If J works/parties hard leading up to Saturday, it's lights out until.

I will admit I rarely stay in bed after I'm done sleeping- If I'm going to lay around I'll go to my manroom. It's easier to lounge on a couch than a bed.

For some reason the P and J roles are flipped at my house. xD The J is more lazy than the P.

Haha, the P gets up...lays in bed for a good hour or so trying to get up, trying to think of what to do once we get out of the bed, and then not do it because something else came up.

The Js aren't up in the morning.

Hahahah. Exactly, only a bit more like this. The P is sincerely trying to get up, trying to convince (her)self that there's something worthwhile to be done out there, thinks of what that might be, falls asleep again in the meantime (but only for a few minutes) then wakes up suddenly, shoots out of bed and turns on the washing machine. Or something similar taht had to be done.

The J stayed up til 4am and is still soundly sleeping. Probably in front of the TV/computer.
