Protein/fat/carbohydrates/nutrients, sleeping, exercise. Sometimes people energize me too. Being outside. Creating things. Dancing. People saying nice things to me.

I regain my strength by having enough alone time to regain a sense of inner coherence. When I'm around people and interacting in the world, there are so many underlying signals, most of which are fragments of information, and I get overloaded. It is like having my mind filled with a massive, detailed collage that was thrown together by external forces. It makes me feel stressed because I absorb more data than is necessary to interact in real time. Alone time gives me a chance to reflect, form connections, make sense of the chaos, or dismiss fragments that cannot form into any larger picture.

In that case, I am no pure introvert. Or I am ignoring the over-heating...

Or your interactions and activities are mild enough to not bother you.

And really, introversion isn't 100% the only factor in this. I also think it's F/T (at least for the social interaction) and N/S in part as well. The most introverted normally seem to be INTX while the least are ESFX.
