how do you feel (ha ha) about the difference between emotion and Feeling?

how about where and when they overlap?​

Suposedly, emotion is purely human and mental as well, while a feeling can be what mbti refers as "sensing", by the way, good topic!

See? Ni doesn't work! LOL! Well, then it wouldn't really make a difference... Except that a feeling can be felt by a non-human brain-developed being, like a rat... The mother would attach herself to her offspring by instinct, but she doesn't really feel the emotion, which suposedly is backed up by logic.

Feeling= values and emotions= physiological/psychological responses/reactions to things that are happening to an individual. There is a MAJOR difference. There is such a thing an emotional Thinker and a detached Feeler.

Many animals can indeed feel and understand emotion. When you give your pet a command (or talk, it doesn't have to be a 'command') they are attuned not to the words, but to the emotional intonations of the speech. They don't actually understand the grammar or semantics, it is the emotion they respond to.

Emotions are invoked by feelings, values, circumstances, etc.. Another persons personal feelings can be picked up on and turned into your own emotions.
