Just copy and paste same text to determine your style.

Sensing/iNtuition

Determines the Sensing/iNtuition dimension of the personality type according to Myers-Briggs personality model. The analysis is based on the writing style and should NOT be confused with the MBTI (c) which determines personality type based on self-assessment questionnaires. Currently works for English texts. Swedish version available on request.

Thinking/Feeling

Determines the Thinking/Feeling dimension of the personality type according to Myers-Briggs personality model. The analysis is based on the writing style and should NOT be confused with the MBTI (c) which determines personality type based on self-assessment questionnaires. Currently works for English texts. Swedish version available on request.

Extraversion/Introversion

Analyzes the Extraversion/Introversion dimension of the personality type according to Myers-Briggs personality model. The analysis is based on the writing style and should NOT be confused with the MBTI (c) which determines personality type based on self-assessment questionnaires. Currently works for English texts. Swedish version available on request.

Judging/Perceiving

Determines the Judging/Perceiving dimension of the personality type according to Myers-Briggs personality model. The analysis is based on the writing style and should NOT be confused with the MBTI (c) which determines personality type based on self-assessment questionnaires. Currently works for English texts. Swedish version available on request.

My results:

1. iNtuition (99.8 %)
2. Sensing (0.2 %)

1. Thinking (99.8 %)
2. Feeling (0.2 %)

1. Introversion (97.2 %)
2. Extraversion (2.8 %)

I approve of this test because it utilizes original creative product straight from the individual. I made sure that I used a paragraph of text from a paper I wrote with subject matter which strongly interested me which would genuinely reflect my personality.

I got INTP for one paper and ISTJ for another.

Wish I didn't delete the rest of the essays from my computer.

I used something I posted in my blog yesterday, about how I think other girls my age are necrophiles because they always watch depressing movies involving death. This is what the test said:

1. iNtuition (67.1 %)
2. Sensing (32.9 %)

1. Feeling (96.1 %)
2. Thinking (3.9 %)

1. Introversion (97.4 %)
2. Extraversion (2.6 %)

1. Judging (70.9 %)
2. Perceiving (29.1 %)

1. Sensing (62.5 %)
2. iNtuition (37.6 %)

1. Introversion (75.8 %)
2. Extraversion (24.2 %) (UMM WTF! Introversion?)

1. Feeling (97.1 %)
2. Thinking (2.9 %) -> Fail thinking.

1. Judging (67.1 %)
2. Perceiving (32.9 %)

According to my writing style, I should be an... ISFJ. Ooh.

I just don't understand how an online test can analyze someone's personality by looking at a text. If a real person watches it, okay, maybe that would work. But a computer? Do computers even notice what these things are about?

Ok, this test can be so easily cheated with. All you have to do is choose an excerpt that has certain kind of tonality and key words. I got the result above by using a text that is more analytical and uses less of the "feelery" words and expressions. I also tried an excerpt from one of my academic papers (analysis of a book and it's not some dry text either) and that gave me 99.6% Thinking. :rolli: By combining texts of different posts I've made here in the forum, I can get all kinds of "results". Fascinating to observe really. :D

^^^That chunk of text gave me INTP=54.0 %; 70.2 %; 95.2 %; 78.3 % :rofl1:

This is incredibly fascinating! Maybe it'd be more accurate if the test is used on several of your favorite papers and see if there's any similarity.

Yeah, I did a poem I wrote and got around 100% INFJ. Then I took an Art History essay I wrote and got ESFP. :jew:

So apparently I'm an ISTJ with really high judging. Even though I am an INTJ with really low judging.

I pasted in 3 different emails in the same conversation, to the same person, and got different ones each time. I guess I write differently depending upon subject matter.

First, brainstorming potential activities we could do (ESFJ):
Sensing (71.1 %)
Feeling (96.2 %)
Extraversion (76.5 %)
Judging (67.8 %)

Second, describing my weekend (ESFP):
Sensing (79.2 %)
Feeling (86.7 %)
Extraversion (65.5 %)
Perceiving (63.0 %)

Third, describing a theory about something (INTP):
iNtuition (93.8 %)
Thinking (72.0 %)
Introversion (98.8 %)
Perceiving (80.7 %)

I also saw one that rated on the "maleness" or "femaleness" of text. It is interesting which words tend to be key words for different groups...

INTJ, ENTJ, and INFJ on three different pieces that illustrate my style, interest, and frame of mind.
I love the concept! Down with these inane multiple choice surveys. Obviously the methodology needs serious tweaking.

I don't care to write a lot.. But I put in an old poem (fairly longish). The underlying theme was allegorical and symbolic, but the language itself was sort of nautical.

Let's see what type a story about group sex is (I didn't write it, sorry)! :D

1. Sensing (91.9 %)
2. iNtuition (8.1 %)

1. Feeling (99.9 %)
2. Thinking (0.1 %)

1. Extraversion (94.8 %)
2. Introversion (5.2 %)

1. Judging (82.6 %)
2. Perceiving (17.4 %)

Okay, so group sex stories are ESFJ. Interesting. Guess the writer was female.

ESF p/j (p/j was almost 50%)

I used that novel I started for "write a novel in a month." It's funny that I hate descriptions so forced myself to write some in.

eta:

I went back and pasted a half page short story/thoughts I wrote that was more personal:

1. Introversion (68.3 %)
2. Extraversion (31.7 %)

1. iNtuition (60.0 %)
2. Sensing (40.0 %)

1. Feeling (66.6 %)
2. Thinking (33.4 %)

1. Judging (54.2 %)
2. Perceiving (45.8 %)
