Alright, me being young, I am curious. I had for a while tested INFJ. Then, like I have mentioned before, felt like "ENTP" was more me. My mom thinks it is a "defensive wall" against getting hurt.

Well, I was wondering if all the types could post a brief history of what they have been throughout their lives, and why/how the changes may have possibly occurred. Especially on the emotional and extroversion/introversion aspects.

INTP. Then I changed to INTP. Then I was INTP for a while, then switched to INTP which segued into INTP. I finally settled on INTP.

^ Thanks for the help. Really. Quite helpful. You are only two years older than me.

Fixed except applied it to me. As for my tests though...

I used to test as INFP a lot. Then as time went on I realized I was more balanced, and the more tests I would take the closer on each dichotomy I would be. At this point I'm borderline on everything. When I take a test I'm usually INTJ, ENTJ, or INTP. With these results everything is on the border.

In my younger days i would say i was probably an ESTJ (no emotion whatsoever). Now i have just accepted my ESFJ, even though i sometimes do P.

Saying that, i confuse the hell out of myself, so i can't expect anyone else to understand me.

INTP -> INFP -> xNFP -> ENFP -> ENFx -> ENFJ?

When I was depressed I thought I were an INTP.
I am very shy so I thought I were an introvert.

What is up with all these teenage fluctuations?

Before 13: stereotypical ENFP
13-15: INFJ (stressful situations changed my behavior)
15-now: ENFP (E is still not that extreme)

When I first tested myself (16 years old) I got INTP as a result, but I felt like it didn't suit me, so I started searching for another type that did suit me and got INFP. I tested myself again and then I got ENFP. So after that I decided to take a lot of tests and most of them said I was ENFP.

Does consciousness change who you are on the inside?

Teenagers are less consistent and thus it's hard to type them.

4-12: ExFx (emotional stage)
13-15: INxx (intellectual stage)
15: ENFx (emotional-intellectual stage)

It seems like I have managed to combine my emotional and my intellectual strengths.

Interesting. Is it possible to search for a type which you relate to more closely, then taking the test knowing what you have in mind regarding the type you want to be thus basically manipulating the test to get the required outcome.

I ask as i won't check out the other types in more detail, even if i believe 'MY' type is off by one letter as i know i can possibly manipulate the test to get the outcome i want.

I always do that. I'm pretty sure about N and F though.

I very much relate to ENTP. Like, I know I can take the test, and know the answers and what they mean. I mean, when I think of a someone I know, and I try to type them, I can think of the exact questions and figure how they would answer them.

It is very interesting.

I suppose I've always been INFJ, but I've cycled through phases where I use particular functions extensively.

Oh three years ago I've gone off the deep end with Ti. Then tried a stent with Ne, followed by Te which of course both simply isn't the me deep down and now I've cycled back to more Fe... albeit you still see a lot of Ti.

My Mom had me take the test a few times since I was around 12, and I also took it a few years at random (for school mostly).

I forget the exact years, but it went something like this:

12 years old: eNTP
17 years old: xNTP (my Psych teacher commented to me how rare it was for me to be split in the E/I area, and said she thought INTP would fit me more haha)
20 years old: ENTP

I've pretty much just gotten more E in my life.

Yea, E seems to be a fluctuating thing. I am split on the E/I too, but I try to let out a lot of E, because it is soooo much fun.
