Does a lower case letter = a weaker dominant function?

ISTj for instance... Does that mean a weak J but still dominant or is that some socionics madness that means something else?

In Socionics, it means dominant, but not weak.
Elsewhere, it is sometimes used to mean weak, or close on the J/P scale, or undecided but leaning towards J.

Exactly. Since I was thought to be ENFP, and some things fit, but I later determined I and T really edged out E and F (as seen in my signature); I used the lowercases.

Ohhh so I would have to really put ENFp, since my dominant cognitive function is Ne and secondary Fi and tertiary Te but always come out 50/50 or even ENFJ on the tests sometimes? Cool, have to change that soon.

It also seems to be affected by the cognitive processes. Apparently strong Fi and Te also make me appear like an ENFP, so if you're teetering on ENFJ, do you have strong Ni and Fe?
