Hmmm .. My user name is my name just shortened. Maybe that's just me, no pretense, and very practical.

A lot of great names have already benn mentioned. Here are a few more:

Nonsequitur - INTJ
Eagle - ISTJ
Luminous Beam - INFP
Lookin4theBestNU - ENFJ

Wow... I got mentioned... I don't know what to say.

^ Hmm nice with the Eagle. That's a good one.

I don't see your intended meaning of that communication.

My name is rather boring here, for lots of good reasons... but elsewhere on the web I go by Jennywocky. (Definitely the N coming out, and the quirky sense of humor.)

One of my fav. poems!
And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous** day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

** fabulous, joyous.

I remember a musical version of the poem from childhood, in folk song form. Does that ring any bells?

There's definitely one in "choir" form, my son sang it a year or two ago in one of his choir concerts -- sorta cute.

When I first signed up for theinternet and didn't know whether it was wise to use real names, I chose bdmnqr for my AOL screen name (which was automatically your handle on Usenet), which was a group of subway lines at a hub in Brooklyn. It's still one of my names on Yahoo lists.

When Eric B is taken in a forum, I sometimes use ETBX1. This stemmed from the Nintendo Nsider forum, and was to convey the sense of "MARIO x 1" (how many Marios you had left in the game).

Well being that the Eagle is a symbol of the United States, it seems associated with loyalty, responsibility and strong principles. It also has this image of being "king of the sky", like it's performing a solemn duty by keeping watch over everything, which (for better or worse) reminds me of the way the US tends to think of itself in terms of its role in world affairs.

Most of these are typical ISTJ traits/beliefs, in my experience.

I got to write a version of that poem putting replacement words that I thought the original meant in one of my college English classes.

I think my username is representative of what some people may think INTPs (or NTs in general) are like.

I prefer to think of myself as warm and cuddly. Just because I rarely choose to show anyone that side, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. ;)
