Admire: kindness, reliability, honesty, empathy, working hard, being able to have fun, people who are equally good at listening and talking, pleasant deamenor, even temperedness

Dislike: mean people, pretentiousness, all talk - no action types, people without goals, people who are overly dependant on others, gossip, pettiness, sloppiness, bullshitters (especially those 'used car salesmen types' who will tell you anything), fakeness, naive people who get sucked into things

What traits do you admire most in others? What traits do you consider to be the worst? It would be interesting to compare and contrast each of the types. After enough entries I plan to make organize all the responses by type and see how it pans out.

Intelligence is of little account.
The IQ of 120 is sufficient. Within any creed, subject or vocation.
Giftedness is of more account. It has its limits.

Courage surpasses everything.

2. Describe what you admire most in others

Sincerity and security in their identity. I appreciate people who don't have problems being themselves, and I understand if you can't be yourself all of the time, just don't struggle with it.

3. Describe what you find most deplorable in others.

Selfishness, especially to the point of evil. When I think about the people that absolutely piss me off, I think of people who think they are infallible and rationalize all of their faults and mistakes, and excuse all of the desires and temptations that they cave in to. These people don't even consciously know what they're doing anymore, they're slaves to their pursuits, and everything else becomes an obstacle.

4. Enjoy!

Oh, you're too much.

Stick to their moral values in spite of outside influences.

Meanness and/or vengefulness
Egocentricity
Rationalizing their own bad behavior

2. Maturity.
3. What I dislike seeing the most is when people are unwilling to learn or go in depth. When they're unwilling to concentrate on one thing, don't want to think, and have a lot of energy that they won't put to use on anything productive.
4. Okay.

2. Describe what you admire most in others

Creativity: ability or at least desire to come up with new ways of doing things
Curiosity: Ask the majority of people on the street what electricity is and they’ll probably just tell you that, “it’s the stuff that comes out of the bedroom wall”. I can’t stand people who never question anything or show complete apathy about issues not directly involved with them
Independence: At the very least, the yearning and self-sufficiency to make do with oneself as opposed to becoming overly dependent on others.
Inner Strength: Similar to the above, only this trait also encompasses the ability to move forward from emotional and physical set-backs

3. Describe what you find most deplorable in others.

Close-mindedness: Usually manifests itself in the ardent rejection of something with little refuting evidence. Pathological skeptics and religious fanatics are both guilty of this
Lack of Global Thought: Similar to curiosity though when this comes up I tend to be reminded of the low competence many U.S. citizens have in terms of both foreign and local politics
Self Pity: usually founded in poor conflict resolution, selfishness, and a general lack of sympathy into other people’s situations. Someone else is always the bad guy in the case of self pity
Irrational Prejudice: A lot of what I unfortunately see within MBTI culture. Based on anecdotal evidence and emotional projection

4. Enjoy!

Yes Maam!…Sir!?…Whatever your online gender is, Sir!
