ES and showing one's body

It occurred to me the other day (backed-up by lots of memories), is it typical for ESs showing one's complete body (e.g. in communication), that sense of 'strength'? Is this what ES is about?

I believe Ns are less 'inclusive'/showy of their bodies.

I hope what I pose is clear.

Yeah, for the most part I agree. But I would define the top segment as Sensing Primary Extroverts (ESxP). Concerned with appearance of self and others, greatly, and interested in making a social impact.

In general, yes, from what I have seen, ESxx types appear to feel more "at home" in their bodies than other types. However, they also tend to be more likely to unwittingly invade others' personal space.

I, too, am sad that we're not discussing ESxx strippers or scanty dressers

I know quite a few ENxPs who use thier entire bodies when communicating, though I've never seen them use them for intimidation as I've seen ESxx friends do- the Ns use them more for illustrating amusing points of a joke or story than for anything really productive

I was just thinking about this the other day when I watched a dumb movie called Hank and Mike, in which Chris Klein tries to play an evil INTX type character. His attempt comes across as pathetic, mostly I figured because of all the body language. I guess the lesson is extraverted sensors shouldn't kid themselves into thinking they could ever be intimidating by doing more of their usual routine.

Heh, if I ever get significantly engaged in a conversation then, I MUST USE MY HANDS. Overall ESxx types are proably more expressive than I am though.

Yeah this last thing I believe. I have this issue with certain people that come close, and not with others. It depends on the person's 'agility'; if that's the reason, I can't stand it; if it is to create a quiet atmosphere to make something clear it is reasonably ok with me.

For the ´disappointments`: we can always make a topic change. I'd support it.

ESxP seem more likely to make every effort to make themselves 'proper' looking. Because they care.

It also seems to hold true. But where I saw a difference between ESxP and ESxJ in that regard, I haven't noticed a difference between INxP and INxJ.

Probably because (Using my immensely superior function system, which actually helps explain things), Sensing is neither Primary nor Support in INxx, but it is Primary for ESxP and Support for ESxJ.
