I often feel like things stop happening socially around me when I need to take a break. Like the party keeps stopping when I need rest. No one else seems to want to keep the plates spinning.

I often feel a certain Ian Malcolm lack of surprise when it comes to being dissapointed with people. Life. Ah, finds a way, to miss the point.

I don't necessarily feel that being SO dom means you're always a good socializer. Sometimes it feels like just being very tuned into all the subtle little ways people like to sabotage themselves and others.

'tis preference, not necessarily skill, after all. A whole lot of us prefer to use our right hand, but only a very small fraction of us can throw darts accurately.

Yes, being in tune/aware of the subtle things. Even when you don’t quite know what they are, you know that they’re there.
Chase the adventure. Cherish the joy.

Then there's the things you feel you should ask, or want to ask, but you've been burned enough times for "seeing through people" that you feel impolite for wondering, but dont want to mistakenly make a social faux pas, so you dont ask. You just learn to live with the unscratchable itch.

'In tune' with the little social stuff? Ah, the anthem of a people I know. I see I half-belong here.
