To be honest perhaps my favorite hikings were around island of Pag.

It is an island close to the coast and due to very strong winds that have hurricane strength during winter time the place is half barren and pretty uninhabited, so you forget that you are almost at the center of Europe. Some parts don't even look like Earth.

Plus the wild 100% bio fruit that belongs to no one is perhaps some of the tastiest things I ever placed into my stomach.
I hope I will go again next summer.

Just saw my first bald eagle! I thought it was a red-tailed hawk (quite common around my area) until it closed and I could see it had a white head and tail. Absolutely beautiful animal.

I'm going on a boat trip this summer. Thank you for the idea.

Dude, if I was independently wealthy I'd spend part of the year in your part of the world.

    Dalmatinska zagora - Southern Croatia

Some of the nicest days of my life were in this region, even if it is just driving through. The population density is very low and industry is even more rare, what creates the atmosphere of natural environment. You can even drink water directly from the river without consequences. It is really good place to clear your head.

With any luck I will go there this summer as well.
