I have a huge pantry, way more than 10 things I keep on hand at all times and go through fairly often. My guess of the 10 most-frequently used items in my pantry, or at least the first that come to mind (although even that is fairly seasonal/dependent on my food preferences at the time):

these three I go through insane amounts of, often used together:

-olive oil
-balsamic vinager
-canned chickpeas (and a few other bean varieties)

7 more:

-canned spaghetti sauce/crushed tomatoes
-dry pasta
-oatmeal (steel cut when I have time, instant otherwise, plus rolled oats for cookies)
-soy sauce
-rice noodles
-canned tuna
-honey (mostly for tea)

My College Pantry
(cheating a little bit)

  1. Ramen noodles
  2. Chicken stock (that I use for my ramen)
  3. Spaghetti and pasta sauce
  4. Tea (Irish/English Breakfast for most of the time, herbal for when I'm sick), coffee (Trader Joe's French Roast and Cafe Bustelo), and fixins (sugar packets, honey)
  5. Salsa
  6. Peanut butter and crackers
  7. A twelve pack or two of Diet Coke
  8. Olive oil
  9. SRIRACHA
  10. Liquor (for when friends are over) and beer (for cooking; I don't like Guinness, but I have some that I use for beer bread. I keep the beer-for-drinkin' in my fridge, obviously)

- Hazelnut spread
Nutella?

Oh man, I can't keep that stuff around. I learned recently that anytime I buy a container of it, I'm like a moth to a flame, and pretty soon I'm eating the entire thing straight out of the container.
