Aww no one likes the clouded leopard? I'll change my vote to that one so they won't feel left out

It is, in all honestly, my favorite .
I like leopards in general though. They're quiet, solitary nature is something I can identify with too .

black jaguars are the same species as regular jaguars (called melanistic, it is a recessive gene present in about 6% of the population). leopards can be black as well.

I voted cougar/mountain lion because they are the largest species of cat that meows and purrs. They are more similar to smaller cat species than they are to the other big cats in design, biology and temperament. I almost wouldn't classify them with big cats were it up to me.
