Aww no one likes the clouded leopard? I'll change my vote to that one so they won't feel left out :(

It is, in all honestly, my favorite :D .
I like leopards in general though. They're quiet, solitary nature is something I can identify with too :p .

I'm beginning to wish I had added machairodontinae and barbourofelidae to this pole :(

I've been passingly trying to find a node of trade for a cheetah, serval, lynx or bobcat.

Jaguar - paws down! :D

Runner up: tiger or clouded leopard (hadn't heard about them, but they look great)

And black jaguars a.k.a. panther?

black jaguars are the same species as regular jaguars (called melanistic, it is a recessive gene present in about 6% of the population). leopards can be black as well.

Mm...yes, I guess the category is "big cat" not "wild cat."

yeah. if it were wild cat, we would have 100s of options (ocelot, lynx, bobcat, wild cat, jungle cat, jagurundi, margay, etc)

I voted for Jaguar.

I had Jaguar in my mind when I did so .

I voted cougar/mountain lion because they are the largest species of cat that meows and purrs. They are more similar to smaller cat species than they are to the other big cats in design, biology and temperament. I almost wouldn't classify them with big cats were it up to me.
