Just bumping ancient threads for the heck of it. Was walking home a few months ago, saw a sparrow walking on the road, picked it up, it didn't fly away, I took it home, let it sleep there overnight, and let it out in the morning and it flew away just fine. All night long, it shivered and shivered as though it was sick and it was limping a bit. Maybe the bird on the window was sick too.
