Wanting to spin off from THIS thread, I decided to make a log here of food trucks I'd like to visit myself and to share with you all. Food trucks are huge at the moment in the foodie world and they're make some pretty good stuff.

Please feel free to post any great food trucks you know of.

-To start this off, I want to try this one in San Francisco. Probably will next week sometime.

http://roliroti.com/home

-There's also this one in L.A. They only make meatballs.

(btw I heard that this truck has around 140 customers everyday during their 2 hour lunch period. The menu is posted above with their prices. I'd say they are doing very well.)

-Still haven't tried this ever popular one yet either. I hear the lines are always too long.

-I'd love to try this one when I get around to visiting Vancouver.

the roliroti truck has been at the oakland farmer's market, i got a chicken from them once it was really good.

there are a few good taco trucks nearby that make gigantic delicious cheap burritos.

OMG I LOVE TACO TRUCKS.

I used to live in Reseda near where this one parks nearly every evening - they had the best, hugest bean and cheese burritos with guacamole, peppers, onions and different salsas and chips for like 3.50.

I have had the Kogi BBQ truck a couple of times and it's really good. Same with the Coolhaus ice cream truck and especially the LudoTruck for chicken. YUM. I had this highly touted truck called Frysmith, but I thought it was only meh.

I'd really like to try Great Balls On Tires (despite the atrocious name) and the Grilled Cheese Truck.

Have you been doing off the grid?

Sadly we're limited to the occasional hamburger truck and hot dog cart up north.

No I had not heard of it but thanks. I might check it out sometime now. I actually live 1 hour north of SF. Where I live there are a few food trucks but I haven't tried them all yet. I have reason to believe that only a couple of them are really good. How far up north are you?

I'd really like to try Great Balls On Tires (despite the atrocious name) and the Grilled Cheese Truck.

When you do, please report back here. I'm interested!

The kind of north where 6 months of the year the food truck has no where to park and no one would buy ice cream even if treat bot were to come.

yeah, I guess winter is probably at least partly why we don't have these fancy food truck things here. Just a ton of chipwagons/poutine trucks, and hamburgers/hot dogs. I'm intrigued, though.

Yum for Taco Trucks!
International has some good ones, but you have to avoid the hos and pimps......hahaha.
Last time we went, my S.O. said a pimp came up behind and was eye'ing me.....
I think he was after his ho who was standing beside us in a pair of hot pants and heels, on her cell.

:)

A couple of months ago I had a great chicken burrito at the SOL Mexican Grill Food Truck.

I surely will try it. Usually it's parked at a busy intersection of downtown (I avoid downtown at all costs), but it wonders to farmer's markets and other events occasionally. I'll need to catch it when it's somewhere convenient. I lub me some BBQ... and I must say that's a cool frickin' truck.
