My mother does awesome cozy clutter. It's so charming and homey. I totally love it.
I don't feel like I could live like that full time tho.

That idea for a wall is brilliant. Use colored chalk, and you could draw a mural on it, or write quotes on it with drawings on it.

The wall in my current place is a big slate of finished metal (I live in a storage container currently) so dry-erase markers can be used all over the place. It's been fun writing whatever I want all over the place! 
I had to hurry up and clean it all up when the Sergeant Major came through for room inspections though
