Anyways have this documentary on the sexist Darwin's Beetle as he fights and defeats several other beetle in an attempt to reach the top and the female...

That's some amazing photography!

To the OP, I wondered if the cricket was a Jerusalem cricket, but your second picture doesn't look like it. I saw a Jerusalem cricket once, and it freaked me out. It looked like an alien with a baby's head, and it was big!

i dont remember the name, but those things usually come out at night and lay eggs on animals(or sometimes human(i heard that cats doesent have the type of ears that they can lay eggs in)) ears :yes:

How would that even work? Maybe if it was climbing down a pole or something...

And yeah, that thing's pretty nasty. Looks like some mutated bastard child in the bug world.
