Oh, fun post... I love lists!

My last grocery trip (Wednesday)

Watermelon
Peaches
Cantaloupe
Grapes
Broccoli
Kale
Snow Peas
Green Beans
Carrots
Garlic
Yellow Onions
Red Potatoes
Cheese (Colby and Sharp Cheddar - kiddo loves cheese)
Fusilli
Olive Oil
Bulk Italian Spice Mix (a couple of tbls)
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (on sale for $1.79/lb so I bought several packages)
Shrimp
Yogurt Squeezes (no HFCS so I caved to the kiddo)
Organic Lollipop (&%*^ checkout displays!)

Then
Apple Juice
Juice Boxes (in the recyclable pouches, but with considerable green guilt)
Bottled Water (don't judge me... our tap water is so yuck that the neighbor has to filter it before her dog will drink it! She's tickled that he won't drink from the toilet and I am weighed down with enviro-guilt. Go figure!)
Rice
(Real) Butter
Sour Cream
Crackers
Sugar
Salsa
Canned Tuna (which costs a fortune if you want something without soy broth, ugh!)
Sliced Bread (whole wheat with no HFCS)

I usually just wander the aisles aimlessly until I think I have everything I need. I might have one or two particular things in mind that I need to grab though.

Right now if I were to go...

- Diginorno's Supreme Pizza
- Crushed Red Peppers
- Eggs

Sometime in the past week:

1 litre coke
golden chocolate oreos
watermelon
packet of 9x12 envelopes

The oreos didn't last more than 3 days...they were much needed and delicious as was the watermelon. :D

 Where was this thread like 20 minutes ago when I was trying to remember what people eat?

I think I ultimately came up with:
Broccoli
Carrots
Cantaloupe
Crunchie noodle things that go on salad
Chicken/Beef broth
Red Potatoes

I have to cook food while I still can, in just over a month I'll be living in a dorm eating nothing but cold soup from the can! :D

holy hell, i'm down to two weeks of hot meals! my good friend and i used to convene at one or the other's apartment for our "soviet" meals: uncooked canned beets, peas, etc. we'd occasionally add capers for flavor..

I don't eat at home. Everything goes bad before I do anything with it.

If I buy anything it's beer, milk, ice cream (oh, shit, just remembered I had ice cream at home), cereal, and cherries.

I really, really, truly, seriously need some lentils. I can't find any cheap ones and the only ones I find are overpriced red lentils. I love me some red lentils but I just want to buy enough lentils to make myself lentil soup every day for lunch. And my kids LOVE lentil soup.

I NEED LENTILS!
