I've been adding it to spinach and romaine as a salad mix. It gives a good crunch. I also got some butter lettuce for chicken larb but I will throw it in there too. I have cool weather greens coming up so I can quit buying most soon.

I'm partial to the crunch of iceberg as well. It's a good mixing green.

I picked up corned beef, bay leaves, carrots, onion, red potatoes, & a cabbage head.

I haven’t ever done the traditional boiled dinner thing, but, what the hey. It’s all going in the crock pot tomorrow morning (I don’t own a large enough pot to do it the standard way on the stove).
We’ll see what happens.

i do corned beef in a braiser or roaster with a lid in the oven it works well, now i want corned beef damn you!

I would really encourage you to try one. They've come down in price and you can use any pot and Ziplock freezer bags - no need for vacuum bags.

maybe when i have extra money i will have to go to the bank and send back the 1400 dollar stimmy check, which makes me sad
