dry RV camping

Off-topic, but what the hell is "dry camping"? Certainly not 'dry' as in alcohol-free, since you had whiskey on your list. Dry as in... no water hook-up?

Correct, no water hook-ups. So it's not technically dry as in no water at all, but we have 55 gallons for 3 people for 3 days, so we'll have to be careful about it.

So it's like... actual camping instead of staying in a mobile home? :D

I don't know about the campgrounds near you but I wouldn't want to drink the water from the campgrounds here. :ack!:

well... except that we still have a fridge, stove, toilet, sink, and shower if we go really quick. And we get to sleep in beds and more "indoors" than in a tent. I'm not much for real camping, so this works for me! :D

Hence the bottled water on my grocery list!

Fair enough. You'd be bringing a cooler or some sort of ice chest in place of a fridge, a portable grille instead of the stove, etc., anyway. An RV is just a glorified tent.

Now if you were sort who needs a power hook-up for the TV and the stereo system and all that... then you're not really camping...
