My ankles hurt when I walk. Despite being a horrible fat fuck (and thus a horrible person), I do not think that is the cause. I'm pretty sure the cause is my backpack because I do not have these issues when I walk many miles during the summer for pleasure (no backpack) or on the weekends (also no backpack). Pretty much it only occurs when I am wearing a backpack. My backpack is already as light as I can possibly make it for class. I am not even carrying around textbooks or a laptop, just a small binder, a couple notebooks, and a lunch, and it still hurts me.

I don't know what to do.

Maybe I should just stop going to class all together.

Do you slouch or is hunched over when walking? That may affect you if your posture is bad.
