The low carb thing sounds interesting. Is it easy for vegetarians? Thanks!

NO! hahaha. Carbs are in everything. At school, it was easier for me to be a gluten-free vegan because I could order veggie patties and get veggies on the side. At home, my family is a carnivorous and eats too much crap. My appetite severely decreased after eliminating gluten, mainly because carbs are addictive.

Just eat a small snack before you go to parties, but make sure it's filling, like ants on a log (my fav) or a whole wheat bagel. Then it's easier not to be tempted by the food. And it's okay to treat yourself every once in a while, you can eat pretty much anything as long as it's well-portioned and not overly-processed (aka Twinkies)
