Daily, or maybe twice if I'm having company/going out and I've gone through a day. I sweat a lot.

As an experiment, I've gone 3.5 weeks without showering.

:ninja:

It's interesting what happens to your hair. :newwink:

I actually want to try that.
I have really curly hair and its so frizzy-ESPECIALLY once I put shampoo in.
So I wonder if I just let it naturally go and just wash with water if my hair will simply get better.
Lets see if I have the nerve to do it though. ;)

I was with an ISTP, at the time, so he didn't care. :p

Odd. :p

I'd care, and I'd think an ISTP would care even more.

Although I'm not affront at all to a bit of sweat. After a few days sweat starts to get... Well... Not sure if I really want to describe it. :D

...

anyone still want to talk to me? ;)

When i'm lazy and barely going anywhere/seeing anyone then it's 2-3 times a week.
When i'm steadily going places, going to the gym, and tanning then it's every day.

But i rarely wash my hair every day. Every other day is key when i'm on the go.

Find yourself a non-SLS shampoo, and if on city water a chlorine filter for the shower.

In combination people with dandruff are typically surprised the "problem" disappears

After about two weeks some folks hair will get a little oily, but stick with it for another week or so and back to normal.

Sprite slim-line and GE shower filters are very good. A replacement cartridge runs about ten bucks every six months.

As to the OP I love taking a shower! Hate baths in that it's akin to squatting to pee.

Once or twice daily, depending upon the timing and intensity of exercise.

Daily, before I leave the house (makes me nuts if I go unshowered) and after workout. Plus I wash my feet every night before I go to sleep (hyperhidrosis).

When I was a kid, I hated baths. This feeling of mine continued into my adolescence and early teens, so I'd shower maybe like, 1.5 times a month as an average.

Well that sort of thing is easier to do when you're a kid. I learned that after puberty, it's much more problematic. SS is right, the stuff that happens to your hair is the most notable thing, and I had very long hair at the time. It usually looked like I had just taken a shower... but of course, I usually hadn't.

Think about how oily prehistoric people must have been.

Hey, me too :D

I also like to take a hot bath and open the window when it's really cold outside.

Sometimes I think that daily showering isn't that good for my skin (dryness and all).

You should check out the curly girl's method of hair care. I have lots of dance friends with very curly hair who swear by it. Their curls are luminous and gorgeous. Just to warn you though, there is a yukky period for a couple weeks until your hair adjusts.
