Flipped gender roles and gender dysphoria

Gender roles have been flipped in modern society, causing gender dysphoria. Men are naturally submissive to women but most religions teach that men are the head of the family. This is simply wrong

The idea that the man is the head of the family certainly is wrong.

*facepalm*

Gender dysphoria is actually a psychological condition. That's right, people are normally BORN with it or develop it as they grow. It doesn't mean they should be disrespected either. But it has absolutely nothing to do with whether the father or mother leads the house.

I also don't understand whether the OP is saying that a patriarchal household is how stuff was before it flipped and now we're effeminate and all, or whether it was flipped by religion and other factors and now we have patriarchal households.

eh, he's just bored based on his intro threads elsewhere.
He crossposted this same thread on other forums this weekend too, just to fish for responses. I suppose this will entertain him for a few hours.

.... but yeah, he's conflating gender dysphoria and social gender structure erroneously, which doesn't help matters.

Relative to instinctual behaviour, I look to bonobos and chimpanzees since they share the most DNA with humans (98.7%). Bonobos have a matriarchal society and chimpanzees live in communities with a dominant male and a dominant female. So, you're not necessarily right in your analytics of gender roles being flipped.

Where we agree is that religions have seriously messed up the world and gender dynamics, particularly expansionist Abrahamic religions.

Where we vehemently disagree is that I don't see how gender dysphoria has anything to do with the impacts of social engineering.

Maybe it was true more than 400 years ago...but certainly not now. I see the OP got banned, too.

Even in the days when a gender-based division of labor made more sense, it did not justify that sort of power imbalance. That is often overlooked.

It is such a dumb idea to assume abillty based on gender. At the end of the day if one cannot respect and understand that women and men are both equal leadership wise then you just labeled half of humanity as being inferior

Gender is a way to control society. Don't fall for it.
