An averaged-sized fish in a pond of adequate dimensions.

Reason? Seems like there'd be more options.

The little fish that became a big fish in the little pond, so had to move to a bigger pond and so on.

Doesn't seem like a lot of fun if you are the pond.

Tempted to pick the pond but going with little fish in a big pond, I wanna have great expanses to explore and don't need to stand out while I'm doing it.

Small fish in a big pond, if the pond is rich in flora/fauna. More to explore. Lower odds of boredom. And I'd be a fit fish with all the predators I'd have to dodge (fun!).

Hmm, research shows that big fish in small pond would make me happiest. I guess I'll go with that.

What kind of research? Just curious that's all.

Oh, it just shows that we use our local reference point to determine our position in life. We are happiest when we have more than others. The real issue comes in what defines "local reference". An ultra-rich person may find themselves stressing about things that seem ridiculous to the less wealthy, while a (nationally) poor person can have the largest home in a small town and be very happy. It can even be only the people in a room, or identification with an entire nation. And it happens with everything from 'the jones' to salaries to class division.

I think that I'm 4, that is actually a 2, that wants to be a 3. But I grew up as a 1.

My handle follows a similar analogy; sighing at the busy bees.

I voted "The pond"

Because of many reason.
Some of them are.

1. All of fishes need pond to survive but pond does not need fish to survive.

2. Pond is the system of higher level so it has bigger size and complexity.

3. It has no personality, body, parents or standard shape and size.

4. Fish dies with time but pond lasts much longer. Even if it is dryed out it can be "resurrected" by rain few centurys after.

I took the option as "Do you want to be omnipresent?"

I voted the pond. I don't want to be a part of any system. I simply want to make a new system.

A big fish in a small pond. Bigger pond implies more people up in my grill all the time. I lived in New York City for a while and hated it.

I was going to say the little fish but then i realized saying little probably meant in comparison to the other fish. I don't want to get eaten or bullied. :/

So I went with the average fish, average gives me plenty of space to explore with less danger.

And dude, big fish never have any friends.

Where's the 'penguin' option?

I hear fish are tasty.

Honestly though, big fish, little pond here. The other fish tend to leave you alone to do your own thing, I dig that.
