As we start to liberate ourselves from our neurosis, as we become healthier, we find those around us dragging us back into our neurosis.

Neurotics love company and validate each others neurosis, and when anyone starts to free themself from their neurosis, it is seen as betrayal of the neurotic group.

And sophisticated and unconscious means are used to draw the victim back into the neurotic group. It is a form of group bullying and can get quite vicious.
