Show me the studies that prove this. I know of studies that show people perceive various levels of intelligence in others based on appearance and certain someone making observations over time might see correlations but I am not aware of multiple studies showing proof of actual cause.

Two findings of which I am aware are that blonde women who seem smart are perceived as even smarter than they are. And that facial symmetry is a cross-cultural marker of attractiveness.
