My dear mother thought I had Asperger's but never took me to the doctor about it. I don't think I have it. My brother in law does, one of my daughter's friends in school does, if I have something wrong with me though, it's something else.

The autism umbrella is so big these days that it seems to create a division between normal and not normal. Normal would only imply the majority. If you're not like the majority then the normal will make the other group feel abnormal, when they are just perfectly fine as they are and the only requirement is for the normal to understand them. When the normal group forces the other group to comply in their own world. Kinda like "curing gays"

Seeing that abnormal litteraly means not normal and you define it as a statistical thing yourself (the majority, the "mean" being the norm) then ahem.. You re kind of arguing against yourself at worse, stating truisms at best. Or more entertaining yet : both.

No insult intended but last time i ve seen that kind of logic was from a progressive / sjw type. Do you indentify as anything related to that?
