Yeah, because being extraverted and requiring people to interact with are synonymous. Extraversion isn't about needing to find people, it's about needing to engage the external world. Extraverts derive energy from actions that involve engaging the external world. Introverts derive energy from actions that involve engaging the internal world. It's that simple.

I don't tend to find either intimidating simply because they are extroverted or introverted. I am more likely to find extroverts I'm not close to exhausting after awhile, and very closed off introverts difficult to get to know because I'm also an introvert. I tend to only be intimated by people I consider super intelligent who I am not close to but respect on a personal level.
