Dr Sigmund Freud, psychoanalyst, did make a signal mistake.
Some of his patients told him they were sexually abused as children, and Freud started to talk about how sexual abuse of children damages their psyche. But Freud met such virulent opposition, he changed his mind and said the sexual abuse of children was childhood fantasy.
And it has take all this time to undo Freud's mistake. But we have succeeded in Ireland and Austalia with National Judicial Enquiries into Child Abuse.
Mbti completly ignores child rearing practices, including child abuse, and actually encourages members to fantasise about their psyches.
