It's called liberal democracy. It means the greatest good for the greatest number. It maximises freedom and equaliy.

And human rights are not just a matter of consensus, rather we have fought and died to establish human rights.

My watch words are empathy and creativity.

And the very basis of creativity is vulnerability.

And it is interesting that creativity is such a rare quality, for so many of us lack the moral courage to be vulnerable.

And it is worse, because those who lack the moral courage to be vulnerable profoundly hate those with the moral courage to be vulnerable. So the moral cowards are cruel to the vulnerable.

This form of cruelty to the vulnerable and creative is called ressentiment.
