In general what are your thoughts on mental illness?

Its more common that it should be and just seems to be on the rise constantly.

Most of the time its disguised, not least to the people experiencing it themselves, so obsessional thoughts, for instance, despising lawful faith communities and freely professed religious beliefs, are passed off as concerns about reason, naturalism and science.
