Here we stand, fragile egos on the edge of the abyss.
The abyss exerts a hypnotic power drawing us ever closer.
But thank heavens MBTI Central keeps us safe.
Central treats us gently as eggs so one day we may burst forth full bodied.
But until that fateful day, Central keeps us safe in the disembodied state. Yes, as we enter Central, we leave our bodies behind and we become pure spirits.
And so we float over the abyss - sometimes elegantly - some thrash about - but all float safely. For without our bodies, we cannot fall - we cannot fall in love.
For it is the fall that shatters our egos.

When you stare into the vagina, the vagina stares into at you.

and the tragedy of our fathers for shunning such a gateway to spirituality
the salem trials that held our hunger vile
set us on fire so our burning desires to be set free were placated
we glorify steel and cold objects, and detest the hands that will save us
our wounds don't need the internet facsimile for intimacy
but the slightest kisses to defy our fears of being alone
the pen is mightier than the sword
so we tattoo ourselves to remind us of such
the tongue is much more accurate than any " AIM " could be
we offer our bodies for cheap-but technology to the highest bidder
we use emoticons instead of emotions
we still think we have to sleep to dream
what a freak show of corpses and watches that do everything but keep timeI N V I C T U S

The Fall
And it is eternal - Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden.
But we shall not even trip at Central.
We whisper to each other - warm muzzle to warm ear - the sweetest of nothings - as we pick the ripest fruit.
And as the sweet juice runs down our chins, we know we are safe, even from one another.
As we slowly learn to dance together - "don't stand on my toes" - "oops" - "what big feet you have" - "all the better to kick you with - just joking" - we start to hear the music - the music of the heavenly sphere - the music of the noosphere.
And as I fall towards you, you start to fall towards me forever.

A poem I wrote 5 years ago:
The vaginal void I've been stuck with has done me in,
Twisted emotions bend my rational thoughts,
over and over again.
And nothing ever becomes of this torment.
A few scars, perhaps, which heal eventually...
Or so we'd like to think.
I'm just so tired of these empty promises and unfulfilled dreams,
of feeling trapped and constricted within these suffocating seams.
And I just don't understand how so many people seem to resist the temptation of falling apart,
when that's all of our final destinies, fated from the start.`
'Cause you can't handle me...

I have no idea what this has to do with sexuality.
