Whenever it rains around here, I feel like breaking into some slow R&B/Pop music. I think it is because it reminds me of all the little things I've done when I was little, which, not strangely enough had R&B/Pop music in the background. I don't know, it just works so well when you have the raindrops in the background. A lot of these I've heard on the radio a lot when I was little. Apparently I have a lot of memories of the rain and listening to these slowsongs. No matter my mood, I end up listening to slowsongs on a rainy day.

Hmmm, I wonder which MBTI's, Enneagrams, and functional stacks respond to rain more?

I feel it, it's coming

Feel it on my fingertips
Hear it on my windowpane
Your love's coming down like
Rain

Wash away my sorrow
Take away my pain
Your love's coming down like
Rain

I'll step out on the mountain top
And wait for you to call my name

Rain

I'm guessing a INFP 4 SX/SP.

Who knows, I respond to rain because it makes me remember calm and very slow days.

Cloudy/foggy days and evenings are preferable. The sun makes most things look..pallid..especially in New York City of all places (particularly the Bronx and Brooklyn...ugh).

You guys also might like this website: http://www.rainymood.com/ to add a different mood to your music.

Hmm, I don't think I listen to specific genres in the rain but there are certainly quite a few that come up a lot. Jazz, R&B, acoustic, pop ballads, etc. I think the commonality is that all my songs of choice during rainy seasons are slow and calm.

Funny, since when I arrived in Manhattan on Saturday the sun was shining and I LOVED it. :alttongue: It made my skin warm, everything was bright, there was vibrant music in the background. It just made me feel elated.

Outside the rain fell dark and slow
While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime

:headphne: Demeter Compulator, BK Butler Tube Driver, delay. I love how beefy that Seymour Duncan SSL-1C (which later went into regular production as the SSL-5) sounds when he switches from the neck to the bridge during the intro.
