Digital Natives vs. Digital Immigrants

I grew up with all of it and consider myself a native, but the generation after me is something else entirely. Especially the facebook/myspace/youtube culture. That's more after my time. I see the internet as mostly a research tool, as it started off as. Some of these kids see it as some springboard for attention or even some fame. Many are exhibitionists, and value the socializing and promotional tools on the net more than I do.
