When miserable or unhappy, I generally withdraw from people. I've learned the best thing you can do for me is to leave me alone for a while. After a while, I can come out and tackle the world again. If I don't, then it is safe to assume that I allow for you to come at me and slap me back into shape if you will.

If I have to put a straight face so that others can remain happy, then I'll put a straight face. That is especially true for a little one. If you don't ask forcefully what is wrong with me, I won't bring it up.

But sometimes, that burden far exceeds what even I can handle.
