I don't think this is supported by evidence.

(I think the STP should be more along the lines of "what's the worst that could happen"... but maybe that's also NTP, or at least ENTP.)

I try to reconcile things by saying, "That's your perspective, and this is mine. It's impossible to know which is right, ultimately."

And I actually believe it. Two people usually can't understand/agree with one another because they each see things from their own perspective, and either won't or can't acknowledge/understand the other's perspective. I like to think it's the latter rather than the former in most cases.

I like that one. Very objective. The one I typically find myself using is, "I'm sure the truth is somewhere in between."

Or if I'm really frustrated I'll go into emotive INTJ mode and say something like, "I don't think you have the critical thinking skills necessary to understand."
