I'll have a bit of both, and also some "Useless" and "paralysing" as well.

Why It's the most entertaining brain invention!! especially if with another person.

I say, is it an Ni activity or Ne? Or is it even Nx? I'd say Ne due to the "endless part" showing some attention to several possibilities.

I'd say it could also be a combination of either kind of intuition.. with a mix of Ti. Take the INFJ conspiracy theorists, for one. :whistling: [NiFeTiSe]

The function ordering of course, would likely influence the topics of endless speculation...

Endless speculation is like masturbating without realizing the well is dry.

As with all things, speculation is only healthy in moderation!

I think it has its uses. Obviously I look at the idea of ''endless'' a tad loosely, perhaps.
I always need breaks from turning thoughts around and around in my head.
Ususally when I return to them, I've come up with other ideas to add in and tumble through, see what comes out from there..
*shrug*
I find it helpful.

I can see how it might prove detrimental if all one does is stand still considering everything and never trying to execute anything with it.

Yeah, but what if a clumsy street urchin drops a banana peel and you slip?

If it's endless, you're not speculating right.

Yes but are we talking about endlessly speculating on only one topic?

can humans even do the "endless"? Though it was understood as exaggeration.

It's like digging for gold, sometimes speculation pays off well, you discover something amazing and you can share your cunning insight with other people and they can marvel at it's... triviality.
