What happens when function needs are not met?

I am not talking about shadow shit. What happens to the ENFP who isn't allowed to Fe? Etc etc.

I imagine they become like POWs of consciousness... this explains why people go nuts on their dominant functions after learning about MBTI. Example the ENFP become ALL Fe. Etc.
