8 hour day.

Fabricating metal parts with programmable machinery

5/10, for a day this sounds alright as long as I know how to do it. Wouldn't wanna do it for long, though.

Making house calls to the elderly as a registered nurse

0/10, fuck talking to anyone on the phone.

Preparing meals from a large menu in a lunch restaurant

10/10, this actually sounds very fun especially if I make the recipes myself.

Building customized computers for game enthusiasts

I'm too dumb to do this currently, but if I knew how, it would probably be around 7/10 for a day.

Finding buyers and sellers for apartments as real estate broker

0/10, sounds pretty gross to have to talk to people and convince them to buy/sell.

Helping people to apply for unemployment aid and managing their applications

0/10, I hate helping people personally.

Preparing lithographic printing plates in a design art shop

5/10 for a day if I knew how to do it, but I'd dislike it after a while.

Helping people on exercise techniques and sport equipment at a gym

Depends on the exercise techniques. I thought it would be fun to teach a martial arts class or something, that would be around 9/10. The sport equipment thing sounds 4/10, it's minimal help and I wouldn't mind the setting.

Ugh. So tedious and BORING.

Making house calls to the elderly as a registered nurse
Mmm. I'd love part of it, but hate other parts of this job.

Preparing meals from a large menu in a lunch restaurant
This would probably feel too rushed for me, and therefore stressful.

Building customized computers for game enthusiasts
Sounds tedious.

Finding buyers and sellers for apartments as real estate broker
I might possibly find this enjoyable.

Helping people to apply for unemployment aid and managing their applications
Another that has enjoyment possibility since I would get to actively help people.

Preparing lithographic printing plates in a design art shop
YES! This sounds fun!

Helping people on exercise techniques and sport equipment at a gym
This also has the potential to be fun.

Dead.

Preparing lithographic printing plates in a design art shop
Probably slightly crabby.

Helping people on exercise techniques and sport equipment at a gym.
This would actually be a lot of fun and pretty energizing for my attitude. I'd be relaxed.

Fabricating metal parts with programmable machinery

Sounds pretty tedious, I think I'd come home tired and grumpy.

Making house calls to the elderly as a registered nurse

Ohhhh my social batteries. I think the people would be decent to talk with so it wouldn't be horrible, but it sounds rather repetitive.

Preparing meals from a large menu in a lunch restaurant

Hmmm, I like to cook, but I think I'd still be drained from the clinking and clattering and shouting and heat. Sounds better than a lot of the others on this list.

Building customized computers for game enthusiasts

Hmmm, it definitely sounds interesting as I like to game myself, but it'd probably be meticulous with all the little parts.

Finding buyers and sellers for apartments as real estate broker

It sounds more interesting then the house calls, and I think I'd sell the houses well, but still most phone calls are horrifying.

Helping people to apply for unemployment aid and managing their applications

That sounds...very boring, and very draining. No thank you. Hard to think of anything redeemable.

Preparing lithographic printing plates in a design art shop

This one sounds tiring, I wish I could do the actual designing and not plate preparing.

Helping people on exercise techniques and sport equipment at a gym

Exhausted...I'm not really interested in hovering over a bunch of sweaty men.

(Can't be satisfied, can I?)

You can't know how you would feel after doing a job without having done it.

I think this is really interesting - I'll look at the other sections too.

Never done anything close to this, not sure. Would this involve sitting in a chair all day or moving around?

Making house calls to the elderly as a registered nurse
No, I never enjoyed working with fragile people at my last job. In IT I sometimes assisted other collegues for technical assistance at people's homes. Usually they were elderly people. I feel very sad after seeing how isolated they are and how they live. It's not for me. I'm too sensitive.

Preparing meals from a large menu in a lunch restaurant
Nah, I tried working at a fast food joint and bailed out after only one day. You have to be very fast and there is constant pressure to do repetitive, mindless work.

Building customized computers for game enthusiasts
Yes. I used to work at an IT store as a technician, and I wouldn't mind continuing in that field. I've never built computers from scratch but this sounds like alot of fun.

Finding buyers and sellers for apartments as real estate broker
Not sure. I'm not too good with "connections" so perhaps I'd pass. But who knows. Again, it's one of those things you have to do to see if you enjoy or not.

Helping people to apply for unemployment aid and managing their applications
Not sure. I like helping people, and I appreciate what social workers do, I don't think this would be for me though.

Preparing lithographic printing plates in a design art shop
Too meticulous in terms of working with hands.

Helping people on exercise techniques and sport equipment at a gym
Yes. I think I'd love this. I'd be more likely to coach my own training philosophy though, rather than be some general fitness guy who helps you realize whatever goals you have.

It's cool that you like it, it's based on real research. There's most surely statistics available in your country about people's participation in the labor force.

>People would program this sitting in a chair. It would involve much like office work. Sitting, standing up, looking up figures. The machinery may be housed in large facilities, or perhaps there is only one machine to the company. Once the machine - CNC- is set up, it requires little supervision. However, the programs might need some setting up. There are programs which mill parts in layers. There are other programs which mill parts in other fashions. One has to know the capabilities of the machine and to make programs that create the right kind of part. And if a right kind of part is not created, the reasons for the errors have to be found and the program adjusted to circumvent those errors. So in actuality it has more to do with abstract things, mathematics and such.
