I haven't seen Sailor Moon or Inuyasha. I've only seen a little bit of Kenshin, but I agree that he's a 9. Do you find that a lot of anime characters are 9s? I think different cultures idealize different types, and to Japanese people, 9-like characteristics are culturally valued. Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke could potentially be a 9, so could Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Anime characters are indeed often Nines. I agree about Alphonse. I don't remember the character from Princess Mononoke. Was that the main character?

I'm re-thinking some of the Sailor Moon characters. Rei and Makoto might not be badass enough to be Eights. Rei might be a 3 and Makoto might be a 9 with a very strong Eight wing.

Ed: Might be an 8 core actually, at least I've seen confirmed 8s say so. My initial vibe was some 683 combo, no idea IV wise
Alphonse: 9w1 sp/so, probably 269 combo
Roy: 3w4 so/sp, 316 or 315?
Riza: I'd argue for 6w5 sp/sx or sp/so, 613, though 1w9 doesn't seem too far off
Ling: 7w6 so/sx, 739?
Lan Fan: 6w5 sp/so, no clue with tritype?
