I suppose any type. I don't eeally think there's much of a correlation between type and interests.

I'm a 6, and I don't really care for math all that much. But I don't think that ties into being a 6, and I think you could find 6s that like math

I'm an 8. I pretty much hated math until I took Calculus; it wasn't until then that I started to see the practical applications of what I was doing. Previously, when I made mistakes in math, it was because I didn't understand the basics of WHAT I was doing and WHY I was doing it that particular way. In Calculus, I still made lots of mistakes, but I was generally able to understand the basics of how the concept worked. I went from barely passing math in 7th grade to passing my AP exam in 12th. Yeah, I'm bragging a little, but it's a good way to demonstrate the difference of how I did in Calculus vs. other maths. IDK if this is an 8 thing, not grasping a concept until I find some sort of concrete application for all the basic BS. Maybe it's an INTP thing? But I don't mind dealing with abstract concepts in literature or history classes...hmm.

I'm a 4 who did well in math in elementary school, then began to hate it as my life fell apart in junior high. I managed to pass the math part of the GED though.
