I'm a 379 or a 279. Ambassador/Peacemaker

I think when I'm healthier and at my best I'm definately a 379. I remember the first enneagram I took I tested as a 3. I do feel when I'm healthier I'm quite braggy, in a good way. When I'm being less authentic to be palatable to others I go a bit 2....I remember being it an almost conscious choice as a kid to be more two like because 3 attracted too much attention (too many chicks).

451 The Researcher

The 451 is very critical of themselves and others. They are very particular and have a lot of shoulds. They can be strident. Dissatisfaction is visible as their energy can be prickly...capable of intellectual circumspection with a twist of the romantic and mysterious. They seem to balance out the emotional realm with the intellectual, but sometimes can be overly critical and defiant of any thing that is stereotypical or oppressive...they are very perfectionist, overly sensitive to any perceived stereotyping, and an academically-minded four, but they never quite feel self-satisfied or finished, sometimes falling into long states of procrastination...They have an amazing ability to dissect their own emotions rationally.

Very accurate.

Too bad I can't change my tritype. I put in 359 and have since found out I was a 4, but I also got an 8ish energy balance with a 9ish so atm I don't really know

I relate to 458 and 478 as well as 359 obviously, 459 and 479 sounds too peaceful and passive for me

359. I've considered 379 but I relate far more to the 359 description and I doubt I'm triple positive.

Honestly, I relate to all the 3x8 and 4x8 descriptions, but I don't think I have 8 in my tritype.

136 but I'm not sure about the order, and I've been discussing the variant stacking with Cat Brainz
He said sp/so but I'm still thinking about it.

correction, 6 was wrong, which compelled me to research but now I know the truth about my tritype

1w9-3w4-5w6 sp/sx

if anybody disagrees, read about 1 sp/sx and 3 sx/so and 5 so/sp
then go read about 1w9 and 1w2, then 3w4 and 3w2, then 5w6 and 5w4

I forget what book my friend was reading, but we eventually determined that I'm a 486 (or 468, though the strength of 8 is decidedly stronger than 6), and I'm very confident in it. In fact, my enneagram is the only typing I'm confident in, lol.

I think I've landed on 6w7 1w9 3wb sp/so for now, though knowing me I'll end up changing it five more times in the next month.

This was so right on the money.

This will be a little bit bigger confession.

I finally came to peace with idea that this post was totally spot on, and I feel really really good about it. Especially since I have to stop censoring my energy just to keep the peace, because that makes me depressed. Without plenty of concrete planning, doing and even conflicting with people my life is empty to me.

I always knew that there is something wrong with my typing and this is almost surely it. Plus the fact that I am not child of Capitalism makes it extra hard for me to fit into the certain stereotypes, even if my cognition is on the level. Plus I am far too driven for a 5. Which is just a consequence of the fact that I am technical expert tritype, I really like to be competent but I am doing it more for the sake of achievement than fear and defense. While my asocial FP parents and my environment used to trash my Te all the time, so socially I am basically desintegrated into the 9. What when summed looks alot like a 5, but I am too goal oriented and into your face to trully be a 5, plus my neuroticism is pretty low for a fear based person.

I am not an inventor but a deployer of information ... what is pretty obvious to anyone who really knows me.

I am returning to my original tritype and how I really test. I though that I was too moral for an 8 fixer but from what I see here other 358s don't have a problem with morals at all.

Plus I doubt that I am triple "competency focus" and 0 reactive, I am not that asymmetrical. While I don't think that I have only one dark side/rejected type in tritype. Plus 8 and 3 fixes are why I often spill into a ENTJ zone even if I am evidently not ENTJ, even if I often feel like one and my Se doesn't completely suck. Also 583 is called "Achiever" in profiles, so that explains why I overlap with e3 in so many areas, even if I don't really gave e3 vibe. Plus I am from socialism heavy country, so here you can't really play the free spirit thing from e8 profiles to such degree.

Therefore my fixes, my variant and overdeveloped Te often overpower my 5w6 core.
I should basically be the texbook example of what happens when you rise an intellectual under warzone conditions/mentality. (and therefore I am a little bit off from certain stereotypes)

And then real life hits and you very quckly realize that all of your interactions with physical environment are done in a very e1 way. I have the energy but the reasoning of e8 just isn't me.

I vote: The Escapist! :happy2:

I've changed my type a lot, but I feel confident about 137 with a 3w4 core at the moment. Unfortunately I have voted 359 in the poll and cannot change that.

I relate to 145, 459, and 469. I'm cool with not knowing though, enneagram and wing is useful enough. It's a major drag to integrate three types and wings.

Ah, how things change. Now I'm incredibly sure of my MBTI, but I feel like I have no idea what my enneagram is. :rofl1:
