Giver, Caretaker, Helper, Nurturer, Advisor or Manipulator

You want to be appealing, giving, caring and heartfelt. Most importantly, you want to be needed, considered important and appreciated for your efforts. You may have problems with pride. Under stress you may be bossy, overly demonstrative or manipulative. At your best, you are altruistic and giving and use your empathy to intuit the needs of others.

I have the same issue! I assume myself to be a 4w5, but I've gotten 4,5,6, and 9 equally. So frustrating lol.

Strange, on all these tests I keep getting 4, and I can relate to it a lot, but my life is mostly filled with anxiety and fear and I kinda tend to act like a 6 as well. I'm not sure if I'm answering the questions incorrectly or what.

The one in the OP gave me:

Your Report Summary:
Top ranked Enneacard overall: Type 5
Top Ranked Enneacard in your Enneaspread: Type 5
Potential Wing(s): 4, 6
Potential Tritype: 541
Potential Instinctual Stacking: Self-Preservation > Social > Sexual

I agree with it wholeheartedly, but I also relate a whole lot to 1w9 SOC.
And 4w5.

So I suppose that's clearly my tritype in whatever order.

I haven't figured out whether I'm a core 1 or 5.
I feel more core 5. Other people tell me I'm more of a 1, so I wonder whether they see something I don't.

The only time I'd take a paid test is if they personally interviewed me, but even then...

At Enneacards, the top ranked result was 5 and the second was 7. I get type 4 on this Duniho enneagram test. I don't know enough to call it the best, but it's one of the few that gives me 4 where most tests give me 5, 6, or 9.
I took the test.
My results:
The distribution of your scores:
Type 1: 8
Type 2: 6
Type 3: 7
Type 4: 11
Type 5: 18
Type 6: 10
Type 7: 11
Type 8: 9
Type 9: 4

Your probable Enneagram Type(s)

Your main type is probably 5
Considering the wings, you should be a 5w4

I think it's probably correct, based on descriptions I have studied in the past.

The SEDIG test is the best one I've come across.

I took the test and decided I am definitely a #5.
"©EDG 2010
I would characterize myself as a quiet, analytical person who needs more
time alone than most people do. I usually prefer to observe what is going
on than to be involved in the middle of it. I don't like people to place too
many demands on me or to expect me to know and report what I am
feeling. I'm able to get in touch with my feelings better when alone than
with others, and often enjoy experiences I've had more when reliving
them than when actually going through them. I'm almost never bored
when alone, because I have an active mental life.
It is important for me to protect my time and energy, and hence,
to live a simple, uncomplicated life and to be as self-sufficient as possible."

This is definitely me. None of the other descriptions captured me as completely.
#1 came close, but in the end, I think #5 is more accurate.

Took the card test.

Free results tell me my #1 is 5 and #2 is 4.

so
hmmm it typed me as five and five; I feel somewhat ripped off that I didn’t get a second option. I suppose you have to pay for that.

Actually, the fact that you got 5 twice means you are more likely to be that type. The paid one is going to be more accurate (I got 2 and 9 as my top two but after having paid for it I got my tritype 297 with 9 as my main type)

At Duniho:

BAH! The Ennea site has me at 9, 2, 5 :BangHead:

This time around, Eclectic Energies has me at:

And yet, their own test with IV has me at:

Trueself has me as 9, 6, 4 sp/so this time around
(Previously, it was 9, 6, 2 sp/sx)

So yeah, there's a problem with the tests for some people.
My problem is in multifaceted questions: 'I'm very much like x but not at all like y, so what the heck do I choose?'

Reading a whole lot of stacks, I feel very much like a 945 sp/so

**EDIT**
I hadn't noticed the free test for the Enneacards.
Both results were 9 lol (there's no doubt about that one)

I get 9 in most tests I took. Second most is 6, then 4, 5, 7, and 2. 8 and 3 are the only types I've never got.

Unfortunately, they didn't get my stacking right :/

I do prefer the IVQ for the stacking.

None of the tests I had filled gave me an accurate or at least clear result. I got equally high scores as 1, 3, 5, 8. I can't even make wings of it. In my opinion these descriptions are less accurate than MBTI, but I also know more about MBTI than about enneagram. I would type myself as 3w4, the tests show 5w4.

Ditto. I for whatever the reason have typed as a 2, 4, 5, 7, and while I found the literature intriguing I didn't think it was easily applicable.

I'm hoping to make mine into an accurate test, or as accurate as a test can be. ;)
