what is my heart center enneatype?

2 traits
- love to snuggle
- love animals and small children
- extremely affectionate with those I care about

2 traits not present
- being loved for me is a luxury, not a need
- I don't care about group harmony at all
- not sensitive/ don't usually take things personally

3 traits
- love to shock people
- vain as hell
- slightly snobbish tendencies
- dream of having lots of money
- attention whorish on occasion (less prevelant now than when I was younger)
- attracted to being superior and higher class

3 traits not present
- don't care about reputation at all
- most of my 3 tendencies are more turned inward. I want to impress myself, I want to do what I think looks good, I want to do what I think is cool
- not a workaholic at all
- my performance has just about no affect on my self image
- not attracted to prestige or position

type 4 traits
- independent
- need to be stand out
- exotic clothing taste
- outspoken
- self reflective
- withdrawn at times
- aristocratic
- appreciation of beauty
- attracted to tragic music
- mildly narcissistic (at least I think so)
- self absorbed
- i find compliments like "you're a team player" or "another chip off the ol' block" extremely off putting. one of the few things that I take personally and find offensive
- dramatic

type 4 traits not present
- not envious
- not emo
- not melancholy
- not willing to look unfashionable for the sake of "standing out"
- unashamed
- seldom depressed

Hmmm... that's a tough one. You've displayed, IMO, both aspects of Two (affability) and of Four (individualism, dislike of phonies). I'd say Three is the least likely, considering you have an almost visceral negative reaction to the whole "style over substance" thing.

I wish I could help more, but I don't want to take shots in the dark...

i'd lean 4w3 because of your gravitation towards luxury, elitism, flaunting, drama, aesthetics, individuality. those are all more 4 than 3, i thought.

you also speak of your own traits often, which suggests self-focus and introspection more than external focus and productivity-oriented performance (as opposed to 4 dramatic/self-expressive performance)

2 traits

These could fit several types.

2's need to be loved. Caring about group harmony could be related to several types. 6's and 9's seem to care about it too. Not being sensitive or taking things personally, suggests 4 is unlikely.

3 traits
- love to shock people
- vain as hell
- slightly snobbish tendencies
- dream of having lots of money
- attention whorish on occasion (less prevelant now than when I was younger)
- attracted to being superior and higher class

I actually see more 4w3 here, particularly with the bolded stuff.

3 traits not present
- don't care about reputation at all
- most of my 3 tendencies are more turned inward. I want to impress myself, I want to do what I think looks good, I want to do what I think is cool

I think 3 is unlikely. Almost all threes have concerns around performance and their reputation. Variant stacking can make a difference though. I think sexual threes are somewhat less workaholic in the stereotypical sense and somewhat less interested in climbing the corporate ladder. If you do you have a 3 fix, you're probably a sexual variant. That could explain the vanity aspect of it.

type 4 traits
- independent
- need to be stand out
- exotic clothing taste
- outspoken
- self reflective
- withdrawn at times
- aristocratic
- appreciation of beauty
- attracted to tragic music
- mildly narcissistic (at least I think so)
- self absorbed

- dramatic

I think this is all consistent with 4, particularly 4w3. The 4w5 is more withdrawn and less outspoken.

type 4 traits not present
- not envious
- not emo
- not melancholy
- not willing to look unfashionable for the sake of "standing out"
- unashamed
- seldom depressed

I think some of what you describe here might be more applicable to 4w5 than 4w3. At least on the outside, 4w3 tend to appear more positive and upbeat.

thankyou, very informative, and I agree, 4w3 is likely at this point

I agree with SuchIrony, 4w3 seems likely, given how there's an element of exhuberance to your individualism, and you're also very interested in opera (a pretty 4w3-ish form of art)... :)

this is true. 4w3s are more likely to become singers and 4w5s are more likely to play instruments. opera as a whole is usually some combination of 4w3, 7w8, 1w9 and 8w9 depending on the opera.
